Casale l’Antico Carro welcomes guests and the public to a delightful restaurant serving traditional Tuscan cuisine. Located on the ground floor of the main farmhouse, the restaurant occupies the historic spaces once used as livestock stables, where an old wood-fired oven dating back to the early 1900s once stood at the entrance.
Today, the venue consists of two indoor rooms—a reception area with a bar and a main hall, both elegantly furnished with beautiful terracotta floors and exposed beams—as well as another large outdoor space under a stunning gazebo with a wooden veranda, ideal for hosting small ceremonies and private or corporate receptions. The warm atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside and the attention to detail provide the backdrop for a high-quality culinary experience.
We’ll take you on a journey to rediscover the flavors of yesteryear through traditional recipes paired with an excellent selection of Tuscan wines. Every dish we serve is prepared with authentic, carefully selected ingredients sourced locally.

Appetizers: Classic black crostini with Tuscan chicken livers, platters of selected local cheeses and cold cuts, as well as fresh truffles
First Courses: Fresh, entirely handmade pasta (tagliatelle, pici, tortelli) served with traditional ragù sauces such as Chianina beef and wild boar, porcini mushrooms, and always-fresh truffles
Main Courses: Hearty, traditional dishes, including old-fashioned tripe passed down from our grandmothers and wild boar salmì, as well as Chianina beef in our handmade sandwiches
Homemade Desserts: Artisanal almond cantucci, torta della nonna, tiramisu, and other daily specialties prepared by our staff
The restaurant at Casale l’Antico Carro offers much more than just dinner, providing customized solutions to celebrate your special moments in a unique way. It’s the ideal venue for small banquets, birthdays, and ceremonies. During the warmer months, tables can also be set up outdoors, taking advantage of a beautiful gazebo with a wooden veranda or the green spaces surrounding the farmhouse.
